Direct Access Consults, Second Opinions

In California you are allowed to see a Physical Therapist without a doctor’s referral. Utilize this Direct Access to see if physical therapy is the right place for you or whether you need to see another professional first.

In the event that you do need a surgical consult, as rehab specialists we see the outcomes every day and know who the best surgeons for a particular situation are.  We always recommend getting at least 2 opinions before committing to a surgical procedure.

We also offer second opinion consultations if your current episode of care is not going as you had expected, hoped, or were promised.

Spine Care

Our comprehensive approach to neck, mid-back, and low-back pain starts by looking the function of the deep core and at breathing.  This unique approach provides for both immediate short-term relief and long-term independence and symptom management/mitigation.

We’ve been fortunate enough to have helped dozens of patients over the years both avoid spine surgery as well as optimize their recovery from spine surgery.

Pre- and Post-Surgery Physical Therapy

“The stronger you are going into a surgery, the stronger you’ll be coming out of it.”

If you’re going to commit to something as drastic as surgery, please understand that the surgery itself is a piece of the puzzle, and NOT the entire puzzle.  Make sure you’re also committed mentally, emotionally, and physically to rehab it right.  We will commit ourselves to helping you each step of the way.

“Prehab” makes the surgical experience easier to recover from, while our experience, expertise, and lines of communication with your surgeon will make the post-op rehab experience as seamless as possible as you work your way back towards your activities, your sports, your life.

Sports Injuries, Performance Enhancement

For the competitive athlete or weekend warrior, our Movement System approach looks at your body as a WHOLE to see how your knee pain might actually be due to an issue at your hip, or how the weaknesses in your foot are limiting your ability to run faster, jump higher, etc.

Let us help you to not only get back to the sports and activities you love, but to reach newer heights you didn’t know you were capable of.
